COMMISSION: The commission is as follows: 50% commission to consignor on all items up to $999. 60% commission to consignor on all items $1000 and above.
PRICING DURING CONSIGNMENT: All items are reduced by 10% after the first 30 days and then by another 10% after the next 30 days. If you do not want your item reduced, you must come pick it up at the end of 30 days or it will be reduced automatically. We reserve the right to additionally discount your merchandise.
CONSIGNMENT PERIOD: We keep items for FOUR months at the end of which YOU must contact us. WE DO NOT CALL YOU. If the item remains unsold for 4 months and is not picked up the consignor, it becomes the property of CIG and may be sold at any price, donated or disposed of without notice to consignor. Please call us one week in advance if you are picking up your items.
PAYOUTS: We send checks by the 15th of every month for items sold during the previous month, no exceptions. Payouts for under $20 will be held until another item sells. There is a $2 processing fee per payout check. Connecticut imposes a 6.35% tax on commission which is deducted from each item sold.
IN ORDER TO CONSIGN: We request that you email a photograph firstname.lastname@example.org , at which time we will let you know if we can take the item. If you wish to bring items to store, consignments are accepted from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Saturday.
PICK-UP SERVICE: Based on location , we charge $65 – $300 for a pick-up. The pick-up fee is deducted from your first consignment payout. If the item (s) does not sell by the end of four months and you request that it be returned to you, there will be a delivery fee.
